"A poor Democracy is closer to Anarchy than any Dictatorship"
Given the widespread political shortsightedness, inability to make real decisions based on longer term than next election, I reiterate my belief that democracy as such, implemented in most western countries, is only as good as it gets, so far.

Among the most debated causes to the Euro crisis are the assumed bribe sub-cultures. Black market. Transactions without papers, invoices or bills.
I would encourage all visitors to Greece and other relevant countries to make sure you demand a receipt for that beer or drink. And to refuse to pay, or even order, if that can not be presented. That would probably send some proper signals.

As per sometime next week or so I will make a page called Software, dedicated to reselling software (duh!) I use and have a decent experience of.
I am in the process of tying some contacts for this, among others via www.famatech.com (Radmin remote administration), www.smartftp.com (brilliant FTP solution), www.eset.com (the Security+Antivirus software I use) and www.site-vault.com (an excellent Files+Database site backup application). I will replicate that page on another few sites of mine and also establish a support channel via one of the Forums I administer.
Hoping my visitors will appreciate my effort to distribute/sell excellent software and applications with great potential, I will not copy-paste advertising texts here, only my own descriptions and my own true experience will be the motivation for a purchase.

A few days ago I was appointed member of the PHP-Fusion (the CMS this site runs on) Management Team. Even a few days before that, that very MT gave me full responsibility for Support and Moderation on the www.php-fusion.co.uk site. I am not sure what I have done to deserve these responsibilities but I think my approach to Moderation (and Support) has something to do with this. I may be semantically wrong calling myself "PHP-Fusion Community Manager", but I find no other easily understandable term without going in to some ranting title.
I owe some gratitude to the RelicNews Community for this, and in particular Dyntheos and Ionfish and other long standing members of their staff. Their moderating style has always served as an inspiration, even when I am being a target of it, and Dyntheos facilitated some texts regarding the Moderation approach to me some time ago which has served as a guideline for me. Thank you.
Now, the task at hand is to get a grip of the Moderation of three sites (Main, Mods and Themes) that currently are separate sites and are soon coming together to one. Some 30.000 members and last time I checked (impossible to know for sure as of yet) maybe up to 250.000 sites running this CMS.

My son is watching a documentary, one of many this day, about the terrorist attack on the United States. I walk by, see the TV and what's on it, and do not give it a second thought.
Then my mind awakens.
In this time of global communications and extending hands across borders in the name of friendship and respect, there are still some people who do not deserve to take part in a democratic and enligthened civilisation. I will not forget.
Despite the so called War on Terrorism, despite an effort of increased tolerance spreading over the planet, we still see how a few anarchists and fundamentalists ruin the lifes of so many innocent humans. Am I one of them for supporting their annihilation? Perhaps, but I make my stand by voting in democratic elections and writing this, not by hitting the first muslim I see or burning flags. There is a difference, you know.
To any anarchists or fundamentalists (of any creed and nationality) reading this: you will surely diminish and fade.
To those reacting about burning Qurans or Islamic Community Centers, I pity your small minds. We are above these issues. We should accept any enlightment about our fellow humans with open arms and learn to ignore petty attempts from desperate ignorants.

Sverigedemokraterna.

I know this system pretty well and I am tired of all the others so I am redoing the site using the system I have worked and lived with since 2005, but never used seriously for my own main site.
